Grandma Dee’s Pet Care is an established and well-regarded pet sitting company in Mira Mesa. We are expanding our business and seek exceptional, mature, responsible animal lovers who can self-manage to add to our staff. These are part-time opportunities meant to supplement your income (at least to start). These are not salaried positions.

If you are able to consistently put the needs of our pet clients and their parents, as the priority in your life and provide quality pet care, we’d love to hear from you.

A.M./P.M. Pet Visitors Needed

Visitors needed in San Diego North County Inland. Visits are 20 to 45 minutes, 1 to 3 times a day for typically 3-14 days. Compensation for dogs, cats, and other pets vary depending on the assignment and client needs. You are paid a generous commission for each assignment that is completed satisfactorily.

                                  Requirements for the A.M./P.M. Pet Visitor:

• You have a cell phone, computer and email address

• You have a car that is insured and reliable

• You LOVE both dogs and cats (If you prefer to specialize in either one please let us know)

• You live in or around Mira Mesa (We cover Rancho Bernardo to Tierrasanta and Scripps Ranch to Carmel Valley and UTC)

• You can commit to working with us for at least the next 6 months

• You are available for both morning and evening visits

• You can easily pass a criminal/background check

Dog Walkers Needed

Get your “dog-fix” here! Walkers needed in and around Mira Mesa (We cover Rancho Bernardo to Tierrasanta and Scripps Ranch to Carmel Valley and UTC). Please note: this is a very part-time job to start (2-5 walks a week).  More walks available as business increases. Most walks are scheduled between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM and are 30 minutes to one hour in duration. You are paid a generous commission for each assignment that is completed satisfactorily.

                                        Requirements:

• You have a cell phone, computer and email address

• You must have an insured and reliable car

• You LOVE dogs

• You are comfortable walking in wind, rain and heat.

• You feel comfortable walking both BIG and small dogs

• You can commit to working with us for at least the next 6 months

• You can easily pass a criminal/background check

Overnight Pet Sitters

We require at least 2 overnight pet sitting references for this position.

Jobs range from 2 nights to 3 weeks. The overnights can be anywhere in San Diego. We prefer to hire people available for both long and short durations of sits. You are paid a generous commission for each assignment that is completed satisfactorily.

                                    Requirements:

• You have a cell phone, computer and email address

• You have at least 2 local overnight pet sitting references

• You have an insured and reliable car

• You absolutely LOVE both dogs and cats

• You are neat and tidy in client homes

• You are available for at least the next 6 months to do overnight pet sitting with our company

• You can easily pass a criminal/background check
