My name is
Andee Rivera. My husband, Joe and I own and operate Grandma Dee’s Pet Care. I
have always had an affinity for animals of all kinds and during our 27 years of
marriage, Joe has learned to see them as people, as I do.
I respect
them for who they are, and they and I always seem to have a connection. My
husband, Joe calls me Dr. Doolittle. I can tell you stories that will have you
holding your sides laughing about some of our adventures, but for now, I just
want you to know that Joe and I are all about pets.
If you’re like me, your pets are your “kids” and every bit as much
of the family as children are. You want to be sure they are well cared for when
you are away from home and in good hands for training and walking. You don’t
know me, so let me introduce myself so we can get to know one another better.
I
am Andee Rivera, mother of 8, grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of seven
beautiful great grandchildren (human, that is). We have always had a house and
yard full of pets. As I have kissed children’s boo-boos and seen to their
needs, I have also loved and cared for our furry, feathered and finned “kids.”
I
recently retired from the corporate world and decided to play with the animals
for the rest of my life. I’ve always wanted to be with them more. Joe and I
both are active, strong and healthy. We also believe in keeping our word and
that everyone else should do the same.
